On December 19, 2025, the Secretariat of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) organized the 4th CCM Plenary Meeting at the Souphattra Hotel and via teleconference. The meeting was honorably chaired by Dr. Phayvanh Keopaseuth, Vice Minister of Health. Participants included leadership from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance, along with representatives from the Embassy of France, the Embassy of Luxembourg, the World Health Organization (WHO), Principal Recipients (PRs) such as the Department of Planning and Finance (DPF) and (UNOPS), the Department of Communicable Disease Control (DCDC), the Center for HIV/AIDS and STIs (CHAS), the National Tuberculosis Center (NTC), the Center of Malariology, Parasitology, and Entomology (CMPE), the Local Fund Agent (LFA), development partners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the CCM Secretariat, and other relevant sectors, who attended both in-person and via teleconference.
The primary objective of the meeting was to provide report the Results of Oversight Field Visit (OFV) in Xiengkhouang Province on 23–29 November 2025, Annual Overall CCM Secretariat Performance Evaluation, CCM Budget 2026, Election of Sub-Committee Members and Chair, Nomination Western Pacific Constituency (WPC) Members and Country Focal Point, Global Fund Grant Implementation Progress Update (Malaria, NCLE, HIV/TB – HANSA2), and Update Activities from the CSO-KPs-PLWDs.
