On November 20, 2025, the Secretariat of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) organized the 3rd CCM Plenary Meeting at the Souphattra Hotel and via teleconference. The meeting was honorably chaired by Professor Dr. Phouthone Muongpak, CCM Chair, and co-chaired by Dr. Phayvanh Keopaseuth, Vice Minister of Health. Participants included leadership from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance, along with representatives from the Embassy of France, the Embassy of Luxembourg, the World Health Organization (WHO), Principal Recipients (PRs) such as the Department of Planning and Finance (DPF) and (UNOPS), the Department of Communicable Disease Control (DCDC), the Center for HIV/AIDS and STIs (CHAS), the National Tuberculosis Center (NTC), the Center of Malariology, Parasitology, and Entomology (CMPE), the Local Fund Agent (LFA), development partners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the CCM Secretariat, and other relevant sectors, who attended both in-person and via teleconference.
The primary objective of the meeting was to Election of CCM Chair and Vice-Chairs, Election of Sub-Committee Members and Chair, and present relevant procedures and Orientation documents to the new CCM Members.
